CCI-LEX - Applying for a Student Visa
FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS APPLYING FOR A STUDENT VISA
MAY I APPLY FOR A STUDENT VISA TO STUDY AT CCI-LEX?
Yes. We are able provide documentation and forms to assist with your application for a Student Visa. A $100.00 non-refundable application fee is required.
HOW CAN I APPLY FOR OR RENEW A STUDENT VISA?
In order to apply for a one (1) year Student Visa, CCI-LEX requires pre-payment of three (3) months full-time tuition (see below for prices), and we will provide confirmation of registration for one (1) year after the student's expected start date.
HOW MANY HOURS A WEEK IS CONSIDERED FULL-TIME?
19 hours per week is considered full-time study.
Students must attend morning classes Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, and an afternoon class twice a week (12:30 pm to 2:30 pm).
WHAT INFORMATION DOES CCI-LEX NEED FROM ME?
- your full name, as it appears on your passport or other government documents
- your date of birth: year-month-day
- your home address and telephone contact number
- your expected start date for the classes
HOW CAN I PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION?
You can provide the information by e-mail, regular mail or a representative.
HOW LONG DOES THE PROCESS TAKE?
It is a good idea to begin the application process approximately three (3) months before your expected start date.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO ATTEND CCI-LEX?
CCI-LEX requires a prepayment of three months full-time tuition, which is $2250.00. This covers fees for both the morning and afternoon classes and includes 2 sets of class materials.

HOW CAN I PAY FOR THE CLASSES?
The office accepts in-person credit/debit card payments, international money orders, Western Union money transfers and/or personal cheques*.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I PAY?
We will provide you a letter accepting you into the school, along with an original copy of the form needed to complete your application for your student visa. These documents can be mailed to you through Canada Post and you will incur the postage fee, or you may select a representative to accept the items.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I PAY, BUT I AM REFUSED A VISA?
This situation is rare, but if you are refused, we will refund your pre-paid tuition, with the exception of a $50.00 administration fee.
